The client approached us to create more space and improve outdoor connection to the park reserve adjacent to their original-condition 1940s semi-attached cottage. To best utilise the budget and outdoor space, we created a double-storey extension, which provided views across the parkland and utilised as much of their existing footprint as possible to minimise the new build area.
